Why was my gift card code rejected? The 4 reasons

2026-10-12

A rejected order is frustrating, but the reason is always written on your order page. These are the four you will see.

1. Already used

The code was redeemed before it reached us. This happens with cards that were used on an account, or codes that were sent twice. A used code cannot be reused.

2. Invalid code

Usually a typo or a missing part. Check the code on the card again. Some cards have two lines, a serial and a PIN, and both are needed.

3. Wrong region

The card belongs to a different country from the one you chose. Look at the country printed on the card and sell it under that country.

4. Wrong value

You chose a value that is different from the real value on the card. This one is usually not a rejection: we correct the order and pay for the real value, and the order page explains why.

What to do next

How to avoid it

Copy the code exactly, pick the right country, and choose the value printed on the card.
